This beautiful Nativity scene in a natural wood finish is by the maker Richard Glaesser. It plays the well known tune "Silent Night"  or in German, Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht. This Christmas carol was composed in 1818 by Franz Xaver Gruber to lyrics by Joseph Mohr in the town of Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria.
