The Dirndl costume usually consists of a bodice, blouse, full skirt, and apron. Maybe this is where the saying "to tie the knot" comes from.
Traditionally, the placement of the knot on the apron indicates a woman’s marital status. A knot tied to the right of the apron means a woman is married, engaged, or “spoken for;”
a knot tied on the left means she is single and available, and a knot on the back indicates she is widowed.
The apron, now a fun accessory, was historically a practical garment used for all sorts of activities, such as gathering berries or storing scissors and other supplies.

We are very excited to see one of our favorite brands bringing out cloth shorts for men and women in that fun and modish style of lederhosen. The
men's collection has several pairs of cloth bundhosen in a variety of colors and also one pair of sport bundhosen made in a nice sweat pant material.
Men and women will find this to be a comfortable way to get their German on while exercising or snuggling up to watch a good movie with their Schatz.
The women’s shorts are also in green, blue, yellow, Campari and also a denim. These shorts are very trendy in Germany.
They are going to look adorable with any type of blouse, or go wild and wear a dirndl blouse with them.
These new shorts embrace the idea of German traditional clothing while bringing fun and flirtation to the generation of tracht wearing
young people. Remember, if you wanted to look like everyone else, you would. Our clothing is for festivals and fun, but also for people
